Little Lantern uses Claude — an AI created by Anthropic, one of the leading AI safety organizations in the world. When you create a child profile and add a daily update, that information is sent to Claude with detailed instructions about how to write a warm, age-appropriate, personalized bedtime story.
Claude doesn't "remember" your child between sessions — we do. Your child's profile lives in our secure database, and we send the relevant details with every story generation. The AI writes something new every single time, guided by strict instructions about content, tone, and age-appropriateness.
We think of it less as "AI" and more as an extraordinarily attentive storyteller who has read everything about your child and thinks of nothing else but making tonight's story just right for them.
